How’s your day going? Ours can best be summed up as this:
We’re snowed in today – it would seem the entire city of Columbus is closed. Cordy is vibrating from an overload of energy and few ways to discharge it. Mira is still getting over her cold, and while she is almost back to normal, she’s still adding as much whine to her day as possible.
And Aaron and I now have Mira’s cold. Despite all attempts to wash my hands frequently, and bathe in Purell and Cleanwell on a regular basis, nothing can stop a determined toddler from giving you her germs. I think I can trace when I became infected. It was a few days ago when, while working at the computer, she tugged on my arm. As I turned to see what she wanted, she simultaneously thrust a half-chewed pretzel into my mouth. She’s a plague bearer.

Water, tea with honey, Sambocal has helped us to survive the cold/flu season, fresh pineapple or the enzyme in pineapple (begins with a B) will brake down a lot of the congestion in your nose, Keep socks on your feet, and warm steamy showers to break it up.
Of course it’s hard not to catch a cold from form a toddler. They use Mommy as a human Kleenex 🙂 I hope you feel better soon.
Does Kohl’s have nursing bras? I’ve never looked there before. But if so, I might look for one of those. Otherwise, maybe something for my home – I’m hoping to redo my master bedroom soon. Of course, I’m due in about 6 weeks to have a little girl, so maybe I would just buy her some new clothes!

We live in very rural Montana where it’s probably a few hundred miles to the nearest Kohl’s. But there’s one in Utah and I know my daughter-in-law would be thrilled if I sent her this card. She could buy stuff for the newborn!
I’m sure my wife would have a wonderful idea on how to spend this 🙂

Oh sweet KOHL”‘S………. how I have been wanting to take Arianna no a small shopping spree. Her daddy left a year ago to serve our great country and she is having a hard time . He come home for Christmas but then had to leave again for 8-16 months. This week has been bad with all the snow so she told me the other day “mama, a girls day is just what I need..” How perfect this would be to win.
I have managed to lose 15lbs and one pants size at the same time that my husband is laid off and the severance package is running on the end…… yep, I need pants and dh isn’t passing out the moolah.

I teach preschool and the kids are really wound up from not being able to go outside, I feel your pain!
I just found out I am pregnant with #2, that’s why my pants don’t fit. So I’d use the money to buy “middle clothes”. You know the ones you wear in between your regular clothes and the maternity ones!
I have no idea what I’d buy, probably either a pair if jeans for my Son or a couple of tops for him. I love shopping at Kohls, they have some of the best sales.

I don’t usually get sick, even if everyone is sick around me. I guess it’s lucky, but being the only healthy one and having to listen to the whines is actually more annoying than being sick. (Hopefully I’m more tolerant when it’s my kids someday!)
