Happiest Holidays

To all of my friends and readers, happy holidays!

I hope you got everything you wanted this year. I can say with certainty that we did.

Cordy got to meet Santa, loving every minute with him and even interrupting others to go back and give Santa a hug after she opened her gift.

Mira received Thomas the Tank Engine trains, books and even underwear. I think she’s satisfied, don’t you?

Score!

Santa heard my plea and wasn’t about to let me be cut off from my ‘net:

Score!

And Aaron found out two days before Christmas that in the new year he will once again be employed. The new job looks promising, tapping into many of Aaron’s talents, and I hope it will be both interesting and fulfilling for him.

All in all, I’d call it a successful Christmas.

Add to it a lot of good time spent with family, an enormous (and delicious) meal this afternoon, and a lot of excitement, and you can see how Cordy ended the day like this:

What about you? Any good presents/stories to share?

  1. very cool! Looks like a great holiday!!

I had an excellent day-couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas. It was hectic & busy, but fun filled and in a way totally relaxing.

I loved every minute of it!

So, what kind of computer did Santa bring you? (aside from it being a Dell?)

  2. Thalia also got underwear in her stocking. She exclaimed “UNDERWEAR! I didn’t know anyone could get underwear for Christmas!”

Merry Christmas to all of you Christine!

  3. We had a fabulous day too! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  4. Merry Christmas to you guys! Looks like fun was had by all. So glad to hear the awesome news for Aaron. May 2010 be a fab year for you all!

  5. Great Christmas! Yay for the job!!!

  6. Rayne of Terror says:

Yay foe new Dell laptops! I got one too even though my 6 year old dell is still kicking. Double yay for new employment!

  7. Found your great blog on the Mom 101 list – good work! My almost 3 year old boy received underwear as well. He threw it across the room and declared that he was “NOT going to use the big-boy potty.”
I hope your luck is oh so much better than mine!!! :)

  8. I’m going to keep the underwear thread going here. Ha! Did you find Thomas underwear for girls or did you buy boy briefs? My daughter would have loved some, but I couldn’t find them anywhere.

  9. Stacia – they were boy briefs. I doubt I could ever find Thomas underwear for girls.

I don’t really mind, though – the boys underwear are thicker and more absorbent!
